Music

Our district’s comprehensive, K-12 approach to music education can be clearly seen in the high caliber musicians at W.F. West High School. Students can choose choir, band or strings as elective classes while the Westsingers Choir and W.F. West Jazz Band are offered as credited groups. Our band students also perform as the pep band at our many athletic activities and all of our music students get the opportunity to perform for their families and peers during concerts and assemblies throughout the school year.

W.F. West musicians have the opportunity to participate in regional music festivals and competitions and also frequently have the option to travel to musical enrichment activities.
